ALIA Top End is pleased to bring you the 2009 Symposium. The Symposium is shaping up to be a very exciting program, both professionally and socially, so make sure you put the dates in your diary!
The theme of the conference is Exploring Library Spaces for Learning and eLearning. Speakers will highlight how library spaces – both physical and electronic – are changing in the new eLearning environment.
Many libraries around the globe are rising to the challenges of developing new learning spaces and eLearning environments…………….” Is your library”?
Developing learning spaces starts with the library building and developing library spaces that attract different groups of clients. The eLearning environment has technology as the core to its success. eLearning spaces use eresources and online databases in new and innovative ways. eLearning spaces also make use of web 2.0 and other interactive technologies, and can incorporate the electronic resources of your library into a Learning Management System.
We look forward to catching up with you all in October!
